Ensured through the support of the Government of the Republic of Croatia

The project of purchasing production equipment for Amus Pty Ltd Co was made possible through grants from the national budget of the Republic of Croatia, i.e. it was financed through grants from the Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovations and Investments as part of the programme for supporting entrepreneurship and crafts – Entrepreneurship Impulse in 2015.

The overall aim of the project is to be more competitive and increase the business activity of Amus Pty Ltd Co. This will be achieved through improvements in business efficiency and the production process by investing in the procurement of new technologies that can bring about considerable product improvements. In addition to new products, it will also increase the scope of production through investing in the procurement of equipment necessary for increasing production efficiency and energy savings. The other, no less important, goal of the project is to create new job positions and maintain current ones.

Investment was made in the procurement of equipment needed in order to increase production efficiency and energy savings through the use of machines for the production of packaging (boxes for fish with a lid, as well as for seedlings) and tools for making mouldings used in the food industry in the shape of fish boxes, and in the agricultural industry in shape of seedling boxes.

This project ensures a solid foundation for future investments. Upon completion of the project, the positive outcomes (increased productivity through the introduction of new tools and energy savings through new production equipment) of the project will be apparent throughout the entire life period of the new equipment. The production of fish boxes is complementary to new visions in fishing (fish farming) which is developing in the Republic of Croatia at lightning speed. The Amus Company, with its technological capacity and its vicinity to the Kvarner, Dalmatia, Italy and Slovenia, as well as its high quality standards, is the only company which can fulfil the necessary requirements. In continuing to produce new types of fish boxes, besides increasing our product range, we will also build our reputation of being a reliable producer and supplier of packaging products.
